Below is a list of common error messages for Wi-Fi connections on the DateCodeGenie® tablet.

NOTE

Contact your company for help connecting to your network.

Connected, No Internet

On Android version 6.x.x, the service that Android uses to verify internet connection has been changed. This error may show even when a working connection is established. To verify internet is working, utilize the browser and navigate to any website outside of your company.

Authentication Error Occurred or Authentication Problem

  • An incorrect password was entered.
  • Attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi again with the correct password

Passwords may be case-sensitive

No Internet Detected, Won't Automatically Reconnect

  • Internet is not detected at the location and will not automatically connect when it is detected.
  • Verify that Wi-Fi connection is working by connecting using another device
  • If Wi-Fi is working on another device restart DateCodeGenie on the tablet.

Avoided Poor Internet Connection

  • Poor quality internet connection found, device will not connect until a better signal is found.
  • Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or moving the tablet closer to the router if possible.

Saved

  • If Wi-Fi does not connect and shows only Saved, this could mean:
    • Signal strength is not strong enough for a sustainable connection
    • Maximum allowed concurrent user limit
    • Router not allowing the connection
    • There is an IP conflict
    • Specific allowed router time when access is granted
