Set Up Location Overrides in the Portal
Table of Contents
Location Overrides allow you to manage items by location without creating separate menus. This is helpful when some locations require different pricing, availability, or other item features.
See Location Overrides for a complete list of location overrides features.
When you download updates on the app of the device, the appropriate features will display for items at the location the device is assigned to.
TIP & TRICK
- Add all your item location overrides using the Location Overrides tab of the Mass Export. See Updating and Adding Data to my Portal Using Mass Export
- Want to save time? When adding a new location to your portal, you can use Mass Export and assign it to items via Location Overrides. This automatically adds the location to the items while adding the location overrides after reimport in Mass Import. For steps, see the Location Overrides using Mass Export and Import accordion below.
