How to Complete and Resume an Inspection in Task Manager Mobile App

In summary, users can open and reopen the same inspection as many times as needed before it expires (typically end of day). It is recommended every time the user steps away from the form to sign and submit as they are able to return and finish each time. This can also be shared between users as each time the form is opened the user must enter the staff member. Once the inspection is finalized you'll be able to see the number of times it was submitted and by which staff member(s).

  1. Click the Complete button for your Inspection under Schedule Pending. This starts the scheduled food inspection.

2. Click the Select Staff Member field. Selecting a staff member attributes the completed inspection to an individual employee.

3. Type or select a name in the Select Staff Member field. This assigns you as the staff member performing the inspection.

4. Click the Answer dropdown for the Employee Practices section. Opening section cards displays individual inspection questions.

5. Scroll down through the checklist questions. Reviewing all questions ensures complete compliance coverage of the questions you are answering before signing.

6. Scroll down to access the signature field and submission options. This brings the final inspection completion controls into view.

7. Review the submission success banner and updated list entry. The app confirms the inspection record was created successfully and displays the completed audit details.

8. Click the back arrow icon. Returning to the main screen allows navigating to other forms or summary menus.

9. Scroll down to the Schedule Pending section. This section highlights pending checklists and scheduled tasks along with completion options.

10. Click the Continue button under the inspection you'd like to continue. This opens the in-progress scheduled inspection and repeat steps listed above.

11. Click the Answer button next to the next section you'd like to complete. Expanding the section reveals individual inspection items for evaluation.
