Keep track of products moving between storage locations by transferring stock in StockSmart.
A stock transfer can be:
- An external transfer between two stores.
- An internal transfer within the store.
Steps:
1. Launch StockSmart from the EatSuite dashboard.
2. Select the store from the dropdown.
NOTE
Select the store the product originates from if transferring between stores.
3. Click Stock Management, then Transfer Stock.
4. Add the products you are transferring.
There are two ways to add products:
Scan the QR code with tablet
Click Scan QR Code with Tablet and scan.
Use the search bar
a. Select Origin Storage from the dropdown.
b. Search for the product in the search bar.
c. If using lot tracking, check that you are transferring product from the right lot code and storage location.
Use the Select Lot and Storage Location dropdown and select, or if from multiple lots, click Show Units and check the lot codes.

5. Type the Transfer Quantity.
6. Select the destination storage location.
External store transfer
a. Check External Transfer.
b. Select the Store the product is being transferred to from the dropdown.
c. Choose the destination storage location from the Select Destination Store dropdown.
Internal transfer within store
Choose the destination storage location from the Select Destination Store dropdown.
7. Click Submit.
