Manage Prep Zones in InsightsLite V2

Prep zones represent the physical areas in a store where food is made or held.
Prep zones are used:
- As filters when searching for products throughout the app.
- To group products made at the same location.
- In reporting for more in depth insights.
All staff roles can view prep zones. Only extended, manager, and admin roles can manage prep zones and assign products.
Prep zones are added, edited, and deleted from the prep zone management page.

- Create zones that match your physical store layout.
- Keep zone names short and recognizable for staff to quickly find in the app.
Add a Prep Zone
1. Launch InsightsLite from the EatSuite dashboard.
2. Select the store and staff from the dropdowns.

3. Click Prep Zone Management under the Catalog tab.

4. Click Add Prep Zone.

5. Type the Zone Name.

6. Select the Zone Type, which is the equipment type at the prep zone.

7. OPTIONAL: Type the Capacity for the prep zone. This is for planning only and does not limit the number of products that can be made at the prep zone.

8. OPTIONAL: Add the Sort Order to set the order prep zones are listed throughout the app.

9. Click Save.

Edit a Prep Zone
NOTE
Historic data stays the same after a prep zone is edited.
1. Click Edit next to the prep zone you want to make changes to.

2. Make changes, then click Save.

Delete a Prep Zone
NOTE
Historical data for that prep zone is kept when deleted.
Click Delete next to the prep zone you want to delete.

Once you've added your prep zones, assign products that are made at each prep zone.
Assign Products to a Prep Zone
NOTE
A product can be assigned to more than one zone if it's prepared in multiple areas.
1. Click Assign next to the prep zone.

2. Search for the product and click to add.

3. Click the X by a product to remove.

4. Click Save Assignments when done.

View Assigned Products
1. Click View next to the prep zone.

2. Products appear under the prep zone.
