NOTE
This article is for NCCO Task Manager. Learn more about Task Manager.
By adding a hot or cold food display, you will allow that kitchen to have Task Manager include hold equipment in a form to track food items for safe serving temperatures.
A hot hold keeps cooked food at safe temperatures until served with a bain-marie or heated display unit. A cold hold keeps food safely chilled in refrigerated cases.
To track food temperatures, create a Hot or Cold Hold Form to record temperatures every 1 to 2 hours. This helps with safety monitoring, compliance with regulations to prevent bacterial growth, and reduces food waste.
