Add, edit, delete, and reorder categories from the Categories tab in the portal.
Add a Category
1. Log in to the portal at www.datecodegenie.com using the recommended browser. See Supported Internet Browser for Portal Access
2. Click on the Categories tab on the side bar.

3. Click the + Add Category button to add a new category.

4. Enter the Category Name.

5. OPTIONAL: Select Default Printer Profile from dropdown.

6. Select an Icon Category first to view available options for your Category Icon, or upload your own custom icon.

7. OPTIONAL: Change the Icon Outline Color by clicking on the color box in the upper right-hand corner. Slide the circle to adjust to the color preferred.

8. Apply category to locations by checking Add to All Current Locations, Add to All Future Locations, or Remove from All Locations. Another option is to use the search bar or list to select specific locations.

9. Click the Create Category or the Create & Add Another button.

Search for categories, filter or display the number of lines:

Edit a Category
Click on the edit button (pen icon) to open the edit category page.

Duplicate Category
Click Duplicate Category to create a category copy.

Delete a Category
Click the delete button (X icon) on the categories list page or from the edit category page.

Reorder Categories
Categories appear on the app in the order set in the portal.
1. Click Re-Order.

2. Drag and drop the category to reorder.

3. Click Finish Re-Ordering.
