Not available for mobile app subscribers.

 

Temperature Probe is a portal add-on option available to probe items to record the temperature. The temperature options must be set individually for each item.

The Temperature Probe tab will display on the sidebar once turned on and is used for reporting purposes. See Run Temperature Probe Reports in the Portal
 

Steps:

1. Log in to the portal at www.datecodegenie.com using the recommended browser. See Supported Internet Browser for Portal Access

2. Scroll down and click on the Items tab on the sidebar.

3. Edit an existing item or click + Add Item to create a new item.

4. Click on the Temperature tab.

5. Set the temperature requirements needed.

Options:

  • Low Fahrenheit: The lowest accepted temperature to activate the action.
     
  • High Fahrenheit: The highest accepted temperature to activate the action.

 

NOTE

There is no option to change Fahrenheit to Celsius in the portal. There is an option to change units in the app.

 

  • Action: The text that will appear on the confirmation notification in the app when the action is activated.

  • Condition: The temperature from the probe needs to meet this condition to activate the action.

  • Notes: A custom field that will display in the app with additional instructions for your staff related to the options needed.

6. OPTIONAL: Click + Add an action to set new requirements needed.

7. Click Save Changes.
