An error code displayed on the X Series device indicating the printer will not print, even with a label roll loaded inside printer.

This can be caused by a label roll with few labels left, missing rings that secure the roll, or an unclean sensor on the printer's right arm. See Printer Error Lights (X Series).

Steps:

1. Open the case cover by lifting the latches or lid on the bottom of tablet housing to open the case cover to access the device printer(s).

2. Confirm the loaded label roll has enough remaining labels. A label roll with only a few labels left may cause this error. For best results, replace with a new roll.

3. Confirm the label roll is not loose. If it is, you may be missing one or more of the rings that hold the label roll in place:

a. If you are missing one of these pieces, contact the Repair Center, see Contact & Support

b. If both pieces are in place, continue to step 3.

4. Remove the label roll from the printer.

5. Locate the paper empty sensor on the right-hand arm of the printer.

6. Confirm that there are no labels stuck to the sensor area, and wipe it clean with a dry microfiber cloth. If any residue remains, dampen a cloth with isopropyl alcohol before wiping.

7. Reload a label roll in printer, close the case cover by placing down the latches or lid to snap in place and try reprinting labels. See Load Labels in the X Model Device

8. If this does not resolve the issue, contact the Repair Center, see Contact & Support
