Add Media Categories Edit Media Categories Delete Media Categories NOTE Option 1: Delete one media category at a time. Option 2: Delete multiple media categories at one time. Option 3: Delete all media categories on page.

Media categories can be used to organize files in the media library into groups. 

Portal administrators and managers can add, edit, and delete media categories from the Media Categories tab in the portal. 

Add Media Categories

1. Log in to the portal at www.datecodegenie.com using the recommended browser. See Supported Internet Browser for Portal Access

2. Click on the Media tab on the side bar.

3. Click Categories tab.

4. Click + Add Category.

5. Enter the Name and click Save Changes.

 
 

Edit Media Categories

Click the edit button (pencil icon) next to the media category to edit.

 
 

Delete Media Categories

NOTE

All media files must be removed from the media category before it can be deleted.

 

Option 1: Delete one media category at a time.

1. Click the delete button (x icon) next to the media category you want to delete.

2. Click Confirm in the pop up.

 
 

Option 2: Delete multiple media categories at one time.

1. Check the box next to each media category.

2. Click Delete.

3. Click Confirm in the pop-up.

 
 

Option 3: Delete all media categories on page.

1. Click the box in the header below the Display dropdown to automatically check all the media categories on the page.

2. Click Delete.

3. Click Confirm in the pop-up.
