What is a UDID Number

What is a UDID Number

The UDID number is a unique six digit number created when a device is assigned to a location in your portal. This allows the app to download the data from your portal for a location.

A UDID number can only be used for one app on one device.

UDIDs are generated at different points for integrated devices and the mobile app.

  • Integrated devices: generated when logging into the app for the first time.
  • Mobile app: generated when device is added in Admin Settings.

UDIDs can be found in 2 different locations:

1. Locations tab in the portal

a. Click the green plus button to expand location.

b. Find the UDID.

2. Devices & licenses tab in Admin Settings

See next solution

2. Try to log in with your username and password credentials if your email and password fail.

See next solution

3. Contact your Portal Administrator for further assistance and ensure they confirm the portal login credentials on the Settings page.
